Abstract

The paper considers two modes of operation of the system – natural and forced oscillations. Natural oscillations are understood as movements in which all points of the system oscillate with the same frequencies and damping indices (but with different complex amplitudes). It is assumed that there are no external influences during natural oscillations. Forced oscillations occur under stationary (periodic) and non- stationary external influences. The oscillation mode (steady or unsteady) depends on external influences.
